On May 3, 2026, at the annual meeting of the Jewish Bar Association of Georgia (J-BAR), members elected Elie Wolfe as the organization’s new president.
Mr. Wolfe has been closely involved with J-BAR since its founding in 2023, serving as treasurer during the organization’s formative years. As treasurer, he helped support the association’s growth, financial stewardship, and development of programming for Georgia’s Jewish legal community. Since June 2024, Mr. Wolfe also served as J-BAR’s representative to the Multi-Bar Leadership Council.
The newly officers are:
- President: Elie Wolfe
- Vice President: Judge Stacey Hydrick
- Treasurer: Brandon Goldberg
- Secretary: Judge Diane Bessen
- Immediate Past President: Darren Tobin
Since its creation in November 2023, J-BAR brings together lawyers, judges, and legal professionals from across Georgia or with Georgia ties to strengthen professional connections, support the Jewish community, and advance initiatives grounded in service and shared values. J-BAR plays an important role combating antisemitism and protecting the Jewish community.
Looking ahead, the organization plans a robust calendar of programming, including its annual Chanukah celebration, expanded charitable giving opportunities, volunteer opportunities, and social networking events.
